Northrop Grumman, Space Systems, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Manager to join our team. This position will be providing leadership to our Facility Maintenance team at the Propulsion Systems Division at our facility located in Promontory, Utah.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Electrical Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the entire Promontory Facility including plant infrastructure, buildings, and process equipment. This position leads a diverse team of skilled craftsmen including Craft Team Leads, Electricians, HVAC Technicians, and Electronic Technicians.

Job Duties:

• Ensures Preventative Maintenance plans are performed as scheduled.

• Ensures repair maintenance is prioritized and resolved to ensure safe operations and minimize any down time.

• Ensure compliance to safety command media and drive a culture of safe behavior.

• Promote a collaborative environment with a focus on compliance, timely deliverables, and continuous improvement.

• Act safely and quickly to resolve any facility / infrastructure emergencies.

• Manage material and labor budgets for corresponding craft teams.

• Utilizes CMMS to schedule, track and report on facility maintenance work orders.

• Responsible for performance management, career development, and quarterly reviews for all direct reports.

• Devote time on the job site with crews, promoting safety, quality, cost and productivity.

• Ensure communications from senior leadership, safety items, and bulletins are flowed down using daily/weekly staff & startup meetings.

• Perform timecard audits and ensure timecards are input and approved in a timely manner.

• Provide status updates to customers and leadership regarding ongoing repairs/maintenance activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field and 8+ years of experience in Facilities and Maintenance, or equivalent experience maintaining and supporting complex production processes and equipment (preferred).

o Experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree requiring 12+ years of experience in Facilities and Maintenance, or equivalent experience maintaining and supporting complex production processes and equipment.

Supervisory: Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of Craft management experience or equivalent leadership experience.

• Broad understanding of industrial electrical/electronic equipment and HVAC systems.

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture.

• Able to effectively balance personnel resources between conflicting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or license in an electrical discipline such as Electrician, Electronic Technician, or HVAC Technician.

• Hands-on experience/background in facilities and maintenance.

• Knowledge of the Promontory plant infrastructure and facilities.

• Knowledge of plant processes including Mix/Cast, Case Prep/Final Assembly, NDT, Laboratories, etc.

• Able to quickly and effectively build strong teams.

Salary Range: $101,500 - $152,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
