Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Inc. Maintenance Worker in Corbin, Kentucky

Job Title:  Office Maintenance Worker

Qualifications Include:  High School Diploma or GED; Organization skills; Submitting to and passing successfully a criminal records check and a drug screening test.

Hours:  Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.  Different hours may be required with the job or may be adjusted by Supervisor.

This position reports to the Team Leader/Program Director/Maintenance Supervisor.

Summary of Job Duties:  The Maintenance Worker will repair and maintain property owned and leased by the Agency. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Complete all maintenance work assigned in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Maintain the assigned building by painting, changing filters, etc., as needed.

  • Maintain the grounds of the building by mowing, trimming, and removing trash as needed.

  • Maintain the grounds in the winter by removing snow, salting sidewalks and parking areas as needed.

  • Provide basic janitorial services as needed, such as washing windows or emptying garbage cans.

  • Supervise outside vendors to make repairs when necessary.

  • Work with bus drivers and others on keeping all agency vehicles maintained.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

    Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

  • The physical demands required to successfully perform this job include being able to

              push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 50 pounds.  Reasonable

              accommodations will be made to enable the individual with disabilities to perform these

              essential functions.

  • The employee will work indoors and outdoors and at different locations when necessary.  The noise level in the work environment is mild to moderate.

  • The position may require duties to include routine or reasonably anticipated tasks or procedures where there is a degree of actual or potential exposure to blood or other infectious materials.

  • Hours of work are structured 7.5 or 8.0 hour blocks of time but may be subject to irregular and/or flexible hours based on needs or demands.
