Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG and Stick welding, blueprint reading, and torch cutting. This is a full-time position that involves assembling and disassembling large molds and ton dishes. The role requires obtaining additional certifications at the company's expense.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding with at least 1 year of experience.

• Perform Stick welding with at least 1 year of experience.

• Read and interpret blueprints with at least 1 year of experience.

• Conduct torch cutting as required.

• Assemble and disassemble large molds and ton dishes.

• Obtain additional certifications as required by the company.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of MIG welding experience.

• 1+ year of Stick welding experience.

• 1+ year of blueprint reading experience.

• Proficiency in torch cutting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prefer a certification in some form of welding.

• Experience with TIG welding is a plus.

• Experience with fabrication, fitting, flux core welding, and welding and fabricating.

Work Environment

This is an industrial environment where it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The candidate will be required to wear a respirator in certain areas depending on the work. This environment is standard for someone who has worked in the refractory industry before.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wampum, Pennsylvania.

The pay range for this position is $21.87 - $25.00
