NOW HIRING: Entry Level Technicians & Machinists!

Location: Coralville, IA

FIRST SHIFT 7AM-4:00PM Monday-Friday

Pay: $19-21/hr

Job Description

We are seeking entry-level technicians to join our team in Coralville, IA. You will be responsible for performing cleanings, repair, assembly & preventative maintenance on our equipment, ensuring the integrity of the samples processed in the lab. This role involves working with synthesizers and various other machines in a repetitive and meticulous process.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleanings and preventative maintenance on synthesizers processing.

• Handle other machines such as robotic liquid handlers, HPLC machines, gas phase routers, and reagent dispensers.

• Replace filters and perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

• Ensure the proper functioning of over 50 synthesizers on-site.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of experience in maintenance, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting.

• Experience with mechanical and low voltage electrical components.

• Troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and preventive maintenance skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools.

• Experience in service, construction, hydraulics, blueprint reading, pneumatics, electronics & installation.

• Experience in similar roles such as farm hands is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.59 - $29.87/hr.
