Location: On-Campus at the Coral Gables Campus
Duration: Until February 28, 2025
Department Specific Functions
Academic Graduate Program Review
Manage the Academic Program Reviews process (Masters and PhD) including:
Tracking and publishing 7-year review cycles
Coordinating with programs and Graduate School Dean in the entire process of review ensuring submission deadlines are met
Scheduling meetings (e.g., introductory meeting, exit, and closure meetings) with appropriate university officials (e.g., Graduate School Dean, academic deans, Provost, program administration) and meals as necessary
Liaising with Program Review Coordinator
Coordinating external reviewers travel and processing Honoria and reimbursements
Collecting and distributing reports (e.g., self-study, review team report, plan of action, mid-cycle report) within designated deadlines
Ensuring final Program Review packet is on Graduate Council agenda
Updating Academic Graduate Program Review Handbook
Assist the Graduate School Dean with report archiving
Sending review materials to the Office of Assessment and Accreditation upon closure
Drafting memos to Faculty Senate and Program regarding review approval
Unit Support
Facilitate office activities and communications including:
Updating website
Monitoring Graduate School email inboxes daily
Responding to requests
Filing completed emails and requests
Ensuring appropriate reporting and lines of communication are in place between committees, groups, and the Graduate School
Maintains Graduate School Standard operating procedures related to assigned tasks
Ensures agenda, papers and presentations are available for meetings and committees
Provide support to Graduate School leadership in the delivery of the unit’s strategic plans
Assist Graduate School leadership with briefing materials, draft reports, communications, presentations, and correspondence.
Other duties as assigned.
