The Postdoctoral Associate supports research activities at the University, under the supervision of a faculty member, in order to advance their knowledge and/or be documented by scientific publications.
Duties related to the College of Arts & Sciences:
· Conduct innovative research at the interface of AMO physics, ultrafast optics, and quantum information science under the supervision of Prof. Hebin Li in the Department of Physics.
· Design, set up, and conduct experiments in the laboratory.
· Acquire, analyze, and interpret experimental data. Perform theoretical calculations and numerical simulations related with the experiments.
· Disseminate research results in the form of peer-reviewed publications, conferences, and patents.
· Collaborate with other researchers in the lab and demonstrate leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have excellent communication skills, oral and written.
Must be detail oriented.
Education Requirements (Essential Requirements):
- Doctoral degree or equivalent in their specialty.
Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements):
