We are looking for a great individual to join our team as a Dispatch Supervisor in Coquitlam, BC. Your success in the role is dependent on how hard you work, how well you communicate and your ability to lead.

Position Summary- The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for managing Dispatchers in Commercial, Roll off & Residential. This role is the leadership position of our collections business unit to ensure that safety, compliance, customer service, and performance targets are met. Personal and ethical behavior is of paramount importance in this servant leadership position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required. Experience in dispatch, preferably within the solid waste industry, a PLUS.

• Experience as a supervisor or team leader of a Dispatch team

• Extensive knowledge of local geographic area

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet applications, TRUX management system, and 2-Way Radios experience a definite PLUS

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work is performed in an office environment.

• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing at least 25 pounds
