Senior Director, Information Security (Dallas, TX)

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Director of Information Security to lead our global security program from our Dallas, TX office. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite per week. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive information security strategy that protects our company's data, systems, and assets worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global information security strategy aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee all aspects of the information security program, including vulnerability management, threat intelligence, incident response, access control, and security awareness training.

  • Lead a team of security professionals and manage their performance.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure security is integrated into all business processes.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

  • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats and industry trends.

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures.

  • Manage and oversee security budgets and resources.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Collaborate with the headquarters security team in Japan to ensure a unified global security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • 10+ years of experience in information security leadership roles.

  • Experience in developing and implementing a global information security program.

  • Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001.

  • Experience in vulnerability management, threat intelligence, incident response, and access control.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Experience working in a Japanese company environment a plus.

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA a plus.
