Job Title: Receiving Clerk

Job Description

The Receiving Clerk will work in a partially climate-controlled area, preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities include packaging products, entering tracking information, and printing labels using a computer system. Proficiency in SAP is strongly preferred as it will be used throughout the day. The position involves lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively and performing various administrative tasks such as opening and re-boxing packages, sending emails to the procurement team, and entering information into SAP following standard operating procedures and customer guidelines. Initial work hours will include overtime and weekends for the first 3-6 months, totaling approximately 45 hours per week until the backlog is reduced, after which the normal 40-hour work week will be reinstated.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare orders for shipment by packaging products and printing labels.

  • Enter tracking information into the computer system.

  • Use SAP for daily tasks and enter relevant information per SOP and customer guidelines.

  • Open and re-box packages, and send emails to the procurement team.

  • Document orders into the computer system.

  • Lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and work on feet all day.

  • Work overtime and weekends for the first 3-6 months, totaling approximately 45+ hours per week.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.

  • Experience with packaging and shipping processes.

  • Strong administrative skills, including preparation of reports and presentations.

  • Ability to use various software packages and databases.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a warehouse environment.

  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

  • Strong communication skills for sending emails to the procurement team.

Work Environment

The position is based in a partially climate-controlled warehouse. The work hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Employees will be on their feet all day, lifting 20-30 lbs regularly. The initial period will require working overtime and weekends, totaling approximately 45 hours per week, after which the schedule will return to a standard 40-hour work week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50
