Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Coppell, Texas
Description We are offering a contract for a Customer Service Representative position in Coppell, Texas. As a Customer Service Representative, your role will involve handling customer interactions, managing customer data, and processing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective communication with customers through various channels such as phone, online chat, fax, or email
• Manage and update customer data accurately
• Handle customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and pricing
• Collaborate with internal departments, including the warehouse, for special orders, rush orders, emergency orders, or order/shipment discrepancies
• Address customer inquiries related to return requests and backorders
• Escalate complex or critical issues to the appropriate level of management professionally
• Strive to meet individual and departmental goals, including call quality, schedule adherence, and average handle time
• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the management. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls with a patient and detail oriented demeanor
• Proven experience in a call center customer service environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in all interactions
• Accuracy and speed in data entry tasks
• Ability to handle email correspondence with promptness and detail orientation
• Expertise in managing both inbound and outbound calls efficiently
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel for data management purposes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word for document creation and editing
• Experience in order entry and its associated software
• Skilled in scheduling appointments, with an emphasis on time management and organization
