We are currently looking for an experienced candidate to join or team as Senior Consultant - Medical Affairs & RWE.

This role sits in the Nordic department Real World & Analytics Solutions, a multidisciplinary consulting team serving life science and healthcare stakeholders with insights and advice. Focus is to support Nordic clients by providing services and critical insights to Medical Affairs Teams and manage all sorts of Evidence Generation studies, ranging from small RWD project to advanced Real World Evidence (RWE) study.

What you will do

As our Senior Consultant - Medical Affairs & RWE, you will be responsible for expanding our client engagements in the Nordics within Medical Affairs related topics for pharma affiliates. Topics can range from preparing for the launch of new treatments, patient journey mapping, KOL identification and influence networks mapping, Medical Affairs Excellence, Evidence dissemination and Medical Communications.

You will also manage RWE projects, such as understanding Patient Experience and using register data to understand and improve patient pathway, outcomes and healthcare resource use.

You build relationships with Pharma and Biotech clients by responding to request for proposals and contribution to networking events. Your proactive, analytical, inter-personal and project management skills will be called upon from day one.

Every project will be different but an idea of the things that you are expected to accomplish are the following:

• Responsible for project delivery to local life sciences clients in Medical Affairs Solutions, including medical strategy, integrated evidence generation, medical landscape, medical communication, medical excellence, etc.

• Manage & conduct evidence generation studies such as patient experience studies, database studies and site base observational studies

• You provide direction and guidance to Consultants and Analysts assigned to engagements

• Reviews and analyses client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals of cost-effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction

• Develops project plans with timelines and deliverables and leads projects to successful completion, on-time and on-budget, from start to finish with little senior management guidance

• Create well-structured, client-facing deliverables and communicate insights

• Be a trusted advisor for Danish healthcare clients, providing them with the correct strategic advice by linking analysis to interpretation and vision.

• Proactively develops broader and deeper knowledge about the medical & market access situation in Denmark – in particular for innovative Rx treatments

• Develop your career and work closely together with colleagues

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have:

• MSc (or higher) in medicine/ pharmacology/ biomedicine/ epidemiology /health economics or other relevant scientific subject

• Experienced in design of real world studies and analysis of real world data, comfortable with basic epidemiological statistics

• Proven project management & consulting experience and skills

• Preferably around 5-10 years working experience in relevant positions

• Solid understanding of the Nordic Medical/RWE trends and needs for pharma companies

• Experienced in working within medical affairs projects and/or evidence generation projects

• Good networker, communicator, commercially oriented and result driven.

• Ambitious team player who wants to grow their career

• Fluent in English and Danish (oral and written) is essential

• Danish residency
