Dakota Regional Medical Center CT/XRAY Radiologic Technologist in Cooperstown, North Dakota
Job Description:
Department performing X-ray and CT modalities treating inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients. The incumbent may independently perform procedures on geriatric patients, adults, adolescents, and pediatric age groups and performs patient assessment within the scope of practice. The Radiologic Technologist works collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to perform exams.
Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department functions: Demonstrates skills and knowledge in use of all X-ray/CT equipment and performance of all X-ray/CT protocols and procedures. Demonstrates technical proficiency in producing high quality images/scans demonstrating the requested anatomical part within the appropriate length of time for the procedure type. Demonstrates a satisfactory working knowledge of PACS.
Job responsibilities to include on-call rotation overnight, weekends, and holidays. Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and aware of general radiology protocols. May perform electrocardiogram (EKG).
CT certification preferred, but willing to train to obtain CT certification.
