About the role: The Staff Accountant is an important "behind the scenes" role here at Lexington. This person manages financial transactions and records across various departments. This includes handling collections and credit, accounts payable, ensuring accurate cash balancing and AR receipts, maintaining the general ledger, and processing payroll. This position will report to our Accounting Manager, who is a leader in our Accounting department. The finance team takes pride in its culture of trust, communication, partnership, and continuous improvement, and is looking for a like-minded individual who shares those cultural values. Job Requirements: 2+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Admin, or equivalent. Proven experience in month-end close, accounting process flows, and process documentation. Strong business acumen with experience in accounting that addresses operational challenges. Proficient in Microsoft Office Software. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
