Job Title: Construction Lead Hand

Job Description

As a Construction Technician, you will be tasked with cleaning, refurbishing, and fixing up modular units upon their return. The units are fairly new and require minimal repair work. You will be responsible for managing and running a team of 4-5 workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently across various requirements. This role requires occasional outdoor work and offers a comfortable work environment within a construction bay featuring air conditioning.

Hard Skills

Experienced working at a company with importance on Health and Safety (VERY IMPORTANT)

Needs to do servicing work at client sites

Needs to speak well and present accordingly

Previous experience as a team lead is a must

Hand and power tools: basic tools like hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.

Construction: prefer someone who has been on a job site or place where renovations are being done, 3-5 + years experience

Renovation experience: prefer someone that have done some basic renovations

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities

• Effective communication and presentation skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cookstown, Ontario.

Work Environment

Primarily in a comfortable, air-conditioned construction bay. Small team. Day shift: 7 AM to 4 PM. Pay ranges from $28.00-$30.00 per hour, with potential for negotiation based on performance.
