Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the Construction/Contractor industry, based in Conway, South Carolina, United States. The role will primarily involve maintaining financial records and procedures, with keen attention to detail being a necessity.

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in cleaning up accounting practices and books

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Use QuickBooks as the primary accounting software to keep track of financial transactions

• Carry out account reconciliations to ensure financial information is consistent and accurate

• Collaborate closely with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial matters

• Manage month-end close procedures to keep financial records up-to-date

• Oversee cost accounting practices, especially in relation to construction costs

• Use your industry experience in construction to enhance financial practices and procedures

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Full Charge Bookkeeping

• Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to handle Month End Close procedures

• Understanding of Cost Accounting principles

• Experience in the Construction industry

• Familiarity with Construction Accounting procedures

• Ability to manage Construction Costs effectively

• Prior Construction Industry Experience is advantageous

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
