HHR Supervisor
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and motivating environment for our team members, ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations, and maintaining the smooth operation of our gaming floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide top-tier guest service, fostering positive interactions with guests and employees, and demonstrating resilience in handling difficult situations in various business situations.
Possess in-depth knowledge of all gaming machines on the floor and the ability to determine accurate payouts.
Regularly assess and adjust staffing levels to optimize guest service on the gaming floor.
Maintain open communication with other department managers and offer excellent customer service to address guest needs.
Schedule and conduct training classes, issue memos, manage payroll records for department employees, and provide essential information to managers for team communication.
Complete all reports and projects assigned by the HHR Gaming Manager.
Be available to address any situations that may arise among department employees.
Ensure accurate jackpot transactions and compliance with internal controls, along with timely processing of jackpot slips and payments.
Verify the completion of all department paperwork, including jackpot slips, tax documents, and guest claim forms.
Oversee the proper functioning of all gaming machines, making them readily available for guest play.
Issue written and oral instructions, assign duties, and maintain high standards of work quality and adherence to HHR operation policies and procedures.
Resolve problems within the scope of authority and recommend courses of action for issues beyond the scope of authority to the Manager of HHR Operations.
Develop strong working relationships and customer service skills with guests and fellow employees.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with a minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, complex environment.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software.
Ability to formulate and communicate ideas and make independent decisions.
Willingness to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.
Ability to stand, walk, bend for entire shift.
