Description We are in search of a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team in Conover, North Carolina. The individual will support our accounting department by performing various day-to-day tasks, ensuring the smooth running of the department and maintaining accurate financial records. The position involves multiple responsibilities in the field of accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, sales tax reporting, and other financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and managing ledgers

• Conducting bank reconciliations and creating daily bank journal entries

• Overseeing sales tax reporting and coordinating sales tax across various states in compliance with regulations

• Monitoring and updating daily bank cash flow

• Ensuring pricing accuracy and conducting accrued purchases reconciliation

• Assisting in inventory receiving and managing fixed assets

• Setting up new accounts receivable and payable customers

• Providing support and backup in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Utilizing strong communication skills to interact with various teams, including sales and customer service

• Applying strong analytical skills to locate and correct errors, and utilizing logic and research skills to resolve issues.

The successful candidate will demonstrate intermediate computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and an understanding of general accounting principles. Strong time management skills and attention to detail are essential in this fast-paced environment. Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Billing procedures

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks efficiently

• Experience with Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Netsuite financial software

• Experience with QuickBooks software
