The starting salary ranges are listed below:
Program Technical Assistant: $19.96/hour - $24.34/hour
Staff Instructor: $25.40/hour - $35.62/hour
Program Coordinator: $25.40/hour - $37.22/hour
Wages are effective 7/12/2024
The State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, Division of Fire Standards and Training and Emergency Medical Services has various part time positions available.
Program Technical Assistant:
The Program Technical Assistant position, under general supervision, is responsible for assisting the delivery of training programs offered by the Division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Completion of High Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE: Must have one year or more experience in fire or emergency medical services of related field.
Staff Instructor:
The Staff Instructor, under general supervision, is to provide cognitive and psychomotor instruction for Division offered training programs. This position requires strong organizational skills, good communication skills, an ability to effectively deliver practical hands-on instruction and include technology in the teaching of classes, and familiarity with all aspects the training program being taught.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Completion of High Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE: Must have two years or more experience in fire or emergency medical services, education, or related field.
License/Certification:
Certified in Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I
Certified in Firefighter I
Must be State Fire Instructor
OR
Certified in Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I
Licensed as an EMT or higher
Completion of Mentor teaching requirements
Program Coordinator:
The Program Coordinator, under general supervision, provides coordination of tasks associated with higher level training programs. This position requires strong organizational skills and communication skills to facilitate, and organized tasks associated with the oversight of assigned training programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Completion of two years of high school
EXPERIENCE: Must have two years or more experience in firefighting, emergency medical services, education, or related field.
