Intermountain Health Cardiovascular Registrar in Concord, New Hampshire

Job Description:

The Cardiovascular Registrar provides extraordinary care to our customers through friendly, courteous, and professional service. This position registers patients in multiple service lines. The Registrar obtains and inputs all necessary demographic, financial, and clinical information from the patient or representative.

Open to 100% remote; however, currently we are unable to consider candidates for remote opportunities in the following states: California, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Washington.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm MST can be flexible with this schedule but will need to attend meetings during these core hours.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collects, reviews, and evaluates cardiovascular (CV) data in compliance with regulatory and AND oversight agencies and bodies Society for Thoracic Surgeons (STS), Society for Vascular Surgeons) and vascular diseases.

  • Performs real-time and retrospective data review. Effectively manages large datasets. Generates multiple standard reports through Epic. Applies knowledge of cardiovascular clinical care to ensure compliance.

  • Communicates changes in performance and updates leadership, Care site based interdisciplinary and core measure teams of such variances.

  • Accurately completes assignments according to departmental standards and timelines. Accurately documents productivity information.

  • Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives. Identifies potential areas for improvement including processes that could be streamlined or revised to improve results. Identifies potential safety hazards that may create problems for patients and/or staff, and takes appropriate actions.

  • Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health Health, and abides by service behavior standards.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Health Information Technology or health-related field.

  • Coursework in Anatomy

  • Physiology and understanding of medical Terminology

  • One year previous statistical analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous clinical work experience (RN or EMT or equivalent)

  • Previous experience in quality and continuous quality improvement (CQI)

  • Previous experience in cardiovascular related field Database management (SQL and/or Tableau).

  • Prior experience with clinical outcomes registries.

  • Prior experience working with physicians.

Physical Requirements:

  • Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.

  • Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.

  • See and read computer monitors and documents.

  • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment..

  • May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$21.59 - $37.12
