This dynamic role supports the school's educational technology by managing various systems, providing training, and staying informed about new tools.

Responsibilities:

• Manage student information systems (SIS), learning management systems (LMS), and other related databases.

• Integrate and maintain data between various platforms.

• Train faculty, staff, and parents on key features of educational technology tools.

• Partner with internal and external teams to ensure smooth technology adoption.

• Research and recommend new educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning.

• Participate in technology planning discussions to align IT with school goals.

• Contribute to a positive and collaborative IT support environment.

• Act as a project manager for cyclical tasks (data refreshes, onboarding/offboarding) and special events.

  Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Software Applications Specialist.

• Proficient in using Student Information Systems.

• Demonstrable experience with Learning Management Systems.

• Familiarity with the operations of Educational Institutions.

• Strong preference for skill in using Powerschool for managing student information.

• Proficient in using Google Workspace for collaboration and productivity.

• Knowledge of SQL for managing databases.

• Experience in Data Management is required.

• Up-to-date knowledge of Technology Trends in the educational sector.

• Experience in conducting End User Training for software applications
