Job Title: Sr. FP&A Analyst

Job Description

Global Financial Services SaaS company is seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to cover a 9-month maternity leave. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting expense management and capitalization for our software development team. Additionally, this role includes managing monthly accounting duties and conducting variance analysis and budget planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on expense management and CapEx for software development team

  • Prepare monthly journal entries for capitalization of internal and external resources

  • Calculate OpEx accruals Prepare monthly variance analysis

  • Monthly financial reviews w/ cost center managers- variance of current month actuals to budget, YTD to budget and full year to budget

  • 2025 budget planning- FTE HC, vendor spend, Opex, CapEx

  • SOX financial controls, process documentation

  • Work closely with Cost Center Managers for Opex, CapEx.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Finance

  • 3+ years of FP&A experience

  • Public company experience, SOX Controls

  • Expense Management and Capitalization for Software Development/IT

  • CapEx and Opex

  • Adaptive Planning

Soft Skills

  • Expense management

  • Monthly financial review

  • Budget planning

  • SOX financial controls

  • Process documentation

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on-site in Concord, California and 2 days remote.
