Responsibilities:

Processing Payroll: Calculate wages, hours worked, and deductions; ensure accurate and timely payroll distribution.

Data Entry: Input and update employee information, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.

Compliance: Adhere to federal, state, and local payroll regulations; ensure tax withholdings and benefits deductions are correct.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation; assist with payroll audits.

Reporting: Generate payroll reports and summaries for management; resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.

Employee Support: Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide assistance with pay-related questions.

This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of payroll systems and regulations.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years payroll experience

  • Accounting, Finance, or related experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written and listening)

  • Great attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • ADP and Paychex, UltiPro, Paylocity or similar software

  • MS Excel (V-lookups, Pivots, Formulas)

  • Ability to easily learn new systems
