Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Commerce, California. The role primarily revolves around managing various accounting functions, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, in addition to administrative tasks. The work environment is highly collaborative, with a focus on maintaining efficient operations and accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Ensure accuracy in payroll processing and verification

• Conduct administrative tasks as necessary

• Manage the ordering of office supplies

• Handle month-end tasks and generate relevant reports

• Maintain accuracy in 3-way matching for AP invoices

• Enter data proficiently into the ERP system

• Manage the generation and distribution of AP checks

• Maintain proper organization of AP files

• Conduct collection follow-ups for Accounts Receivable

• Prepare and distribute management reports as required

• Oversee renewals for permits, business licenses, and environmental reports. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed.

• Capability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently is required.

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.

• Auditing skills are a must.

• Ability to manage Billing Functions effectively is needed.
