We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and product quality. The Quality Technician will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and documenting quality control processes throughout production. This role is integral in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, while ensuring that customers receive safe and premium-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control Testing: Perform routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including test results, inspections, and non-conformance reports.

• Process Monitoring: Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to established protocols and identify potential deviations.

• Equipment Calibration: Ensure testing equipment is properly calibrated and functioning accurately; report and troubleshoot any malfunctions.

• Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to food safety programs such as HACCP, GMPs, and other relevant standards.

• Collaboration: Work closely with production staff to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.

• Audits: Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and evidence of compliance as required.

• Training Support: Support training efforts for production staff on quality standards and food safety protocols.

salary: $41,600 - $45,760 per year

Responsibilities

Collect swab results

• Enter results into data base

• Review results to ensure compliance with specifications

• Provide feedback to operators and manufacturing mangers regarding non-conforming products and

packaging

• Communicate results according to established communication methods

• Ensure that assigned area is clean at all times following established cleaning and sanitation practices

• Informs Quality and Production Manager of any food safety problems

• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and job instructions

• Take corrective actions when measures are out of specification

• Take and document required process, quality measures

• Meet or exceed established targets

• Adhere to the company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the general food safety

standards of BRC.

• Responsible for routine cleaning and general maintenance of the workspace as assigned.
