Responsibilities * Manages organizational social media presence to best represent the brand, communicates the mission, and supervises interactions with partners and profiles on all platforms. * Creates social media content and creatively captures real stories to elevate the charity and explain the mission. * Stays up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep RMHC's social media presence consistently relevant. * Provides and presents social media metrics and monthly reporting. * Works in partnership with staff to create materials to support communications and marketing efforts. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Works with Communications Manager to create professional design materials in collaboration with written material provided. Qualifications Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing or a relevant degree/equivalent work experience. Skills: * Exceptional problem-solving techniques. * Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Encourages constructive criticism and is open to feedback. * Clear and confident communication abilities. * Extensive knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Keen understanding of how to craft effective social media strategies and posts. * Ability to work in stressful environments and meet deadlines. Experience: * Nonprofit environment, preferred. * Experience with Microsoft Office and Apple products, required. * Proficiency in using the Adobe Creative Suite, Specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat, required.
