Wells Fargo Technology Business Systems Sr Manager in COLUMBUS, Ohio
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a leader to drive technology/engineering transformation vision across EDP through the transformation of engineering best practices, architecture modernization and technology strategy, and agile standards
In this role, you will:
Own transformation roadmaps that helps the EDP organization in meeting product, technology, and stability objectives with a customer centric mindset.
Influence engineering leaders and team members understand their roles in the product model along with their responsibilities for engaging with Product; including driving technology objectives and technology modernization initiatives (Cloud, CI/CD, DDD, Microservices) flowing through the product.
Own change management strategy for engineering best practices, architecture modernization strategy, and agile standards within domain; ensures Tech Enablement Lead is regularly updated on progress.
Manage team of Scrum Masters and Kanban Leads, accountable for both the agile function being uplifted via role standardization and for coaching across L1 teams.
Proactively seeks to optimize the flow of work to our product teams, identifying bottlenecks and working across peers, other Scrum Master Managers, and the enterprise to find and effect solutions to reduce friction in the system.
Strategize, plan, and execute engagements to improve practices and engineering culture such as engineering, architecture, data, security, DevOps, testing automation, etc. This includes partnering with engineering experts (i.e. coaches, engineering enablement, distinguished engineers, CDO).
Optimize agile best practices, product model gearing ratios, guiding the product through analysis and strategies and understanding gaps / needs so they can make informed recommendations.
Enable a culture of technical learning and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of Business Systems Data, Business Systems Designing, and Information Technology Consulting, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of Agile (Scrum, product owner or development operations) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with technology modernization initiatives such as GCP Cloud, CI/CD, DDD, Microservices
Strong understanding of the compliance and risk efforts associated with the financial services industry
Change management experience
Job Expectations:
In office expectation of 3 days per week
