This role is responsible for leading a team of analysts to drive strategic decision-making and enable data-driven insights within the organization. This person works closely with cross-functional teams, to identify key business challenges and develop analytical solutions to improve business performance. It requires expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business strategy to deliver data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization. This leader is also responsible for supporting the Office of HM Governance team and process by establishing KPIs for each of the selected strategic initiatives and creates reporting to measure results post-implementation to track against ROI / Business Case. Key Responsibilities Develop operational tools to support stakeholders with a focus on creating business and customer value: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data analytics tools, models, and dashboards to support business decision-making. Conduct in-depth data analysis using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance and progress toward strategic priorities. Evaluate the analysis results and provide comprehensive, actionable insights and direction based on analytical and business factors. Leverage technology and analysis to further business goals. Provide recommendation solutions to new and complex problems, develop innovative strategies, and quantify performance. Ensure project deliverables and documented scope are on time and in accordance with organization priorities. Lead and manage a team to resolve and execute strategic data initiatives: Collaborate effectively with peers and executive leadership to identify challenges and opportunities that can be addressed through data analysis. Provide solution support and serve as escalation point when needed. Develop and promote a productive and collaborative team environment. Provide professional, thought and technical leadership. Team Leadership: Provides leadership and mentoring to direct reports (reporting and analysis associates), including ongoing training to associates on policy/procedures, technical and behavioral skills aligned to McKesson's values, and team building. Implements and routinely evaluates standards of performance and delivers prompt and objective coaching and counseling. Leads operational and quality meetings for associates. Develops both behavioral (passion for continuous process improvement, ability to develop collaborative relationships, willingness to challenge conventional thinking, ability to follow strategic direction) and technical (analytical, organizational, decision making, systems/databases) skills. Establishes a growth oriented, challenging environment that is conducive to recruitment and retention of highly skilled professionals. Mentors and develops associates on processes improvement to support our growing company. Initiative Support: Assist in developing business strategy, provides data-driven options and execution of data components related to sales, pharmacy franchise services, patient and market research, contractual terms and reimbursements and operations.
