Position Summary: The position involves analyzing and modeling pharmacy data to evaluate pharmacy business models, financial trends, eligibility, and network affiliations for assessing participation in Payer Solutions' product suite. It also includes managing contracts, amendments, and legal notices related to pharmacy participation in Payer Solutions services and network access. Ensuring compliance with Payer/PBM requirements and implementing procedures and policies to support patient care continuity is crucial. The role provides solutions to mitigate financial and compliance risks and engages with various customer segments. Additionally, it focuses on delivering a positive offboarding experience, collaborating with distribution partners, and supporting customer retention for McKesson. Key Responsibilities Receives and adheres to established procedures for processing pharmacy termination requests from various sources, including Sales, Pharmacy clients, Customer Service, McKesson Distribution, Operations Risk Management and Credentialing/Compliance. Initiates termination process promptly by confirming the pharmacy's intention, establishing the termination effective date, and preparing and sending appropriate legal notices, along with revised contracts/amendments in accordance with contract notice provisions. Communicates effectively with field staff and internal stakeholders throughout the termination cycle. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of termination data and documentation, minimizing legal implications. Exercises sound judgment and achieves desired results to mitigate legal and reputational risks; resolve any errors promptly to avoid additional resource allocation to correct and achieve desired results. Collaborates with risk management, credentialing/compliance, and field teams to evaluate the potential impact of pharmacy termination. Responsible for documenting and reporting on termination related trends, factors other data to drive business insights, changes, and reports on economic forecasts that affect the industry by leveraging knowledge and experience generally acquired through pharmacy and/or managed care settings. Identifies, investigates, and interprets risk-related events, such as pharmacy business models and nuances that impact the decision to proceed with termination or recommend solutions/best practices. Provides in-depth insight into the pharmacy's business model. Documents findings and final actions/decisions using internal systems, ensuring consistent updates to business unit leadership. Offers cross-functional assistance to other functional areas within the Office of Health Mart and McKesson Distribution partners. Handles the processing of new pharmacy enrollments, maintain existing pharmacy customer profiles, oversee claims reimbursement for risk management, and conduct research for the compliance team. Minimum Requirement Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience. Critical Skills Minimum 2-years' experience in customer-facing roles, such as Customer Service, Sales, Account Management, Training, or similar roles, preferably in a pharmacy and/or managed care setting.
