Job Description Summary

The principal purpose of the Sourcing Data Analyst is to support the procurement organization and client delivery teams as it pertains to sourcing, vendor compliance and vendor management performance.

Job Description

  • This role will support various work teams and projects within the organization. It will mostly work with the the supply chain team, suppliers and internal operations team on client account(s). It will require some relationships with other functions, lines of business and third party suppliers.

  • The Sourcing Data Analyst supports strategic operations by collecting, analyzing, and managing data to provide key insights for actionable improvements to the organization.

  • The Sourcing Data Analyst will become a key member of several teams providing analytical rigor and technical expertise to produce fact based summary information enabling Senior Procurement personnel to improve their strategic decisions. This position will process, extract, and query data from various systems, across the globe to help make decisions.

  • The Sourcing Data Analyst must possess excellent project management skills, communication skills and an understanding of multiple business processes.

  • The Sourcing Data Analyst will take input from other procurement team members and business area leads and prioritize day to day activities.

  • The Sourcing Data Analyst will perform as an individual contributor and will not have direct management responsibilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Gather and analyze key procurement metrics using data collection techniques

  • Manage “Quick Quote” and tactical sourcing projects including working to ensure supplier coverage areas are covered

  • Coordinate the performance management program for client/account team with suppliers, working in conjunction with the SPM leader, procurement leadership and account leadership

  • Support Procurement Managers & Directors as it pertains to the company’s Spend Analytics process and technologies

  • Support Procurement Managers & Directors as it pertains to the company’s Procure-to-Pay process and technologies

  • Support Procurement Managers & Directors as it pertains to the company’s Contract Lifecycle Management process and technologies

  • Support Procurement Managers & Directors as it pertains to the company’s eSourcing process and technologies

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Procurement Related Certifications

  • Previous Experience: 1-5 years of procurement support experience

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $59,500.00 - $70,000.00
