JPMorgan Chase & Co. JOB TITLE: Software Engineer LOCATION: 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240. DUTIES: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre- defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Develop and work Tableau driven dashboards for data visualization to support business needs. Collaborate with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve, and automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team. Query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook. Resolve issues that appear during development. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Tableau Developer, or related occupation. Requires experience in the following: Designing reporting in Tableau and AWS QuickSight providing performance monitoring and reconciliation insights to the multiple development and product support teams and publishing the OKRs for the Product teams and Upper Management; extract the data using SQL queries and calculations to provide visualizations and analytics, with Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, DB2, and AWS S3; AWS Athena; running queries in Splunk and automating the data generation and storage; Alteryx for data manipulation as well as combining various data sources like an ETL tool and the bulk data validations done using Unix; Excel and Power Point to create graphs and presentations; and Agile and Hybrid SDLC for the delivery.
