Actalent Site Safety Representative in Columbus, Ohio

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will conduct daily job-site safety audits, assist Project Managers, Superintendents, and site personnel on all safety-related needs, and enforce Company Safety Policy and Standards.

  • You will communicate mission-critical safety information to foremen and field crews, perform PPE and other safety equipment inspections

  • Review and assist with safety documentation including Job Hazard Analysis, Toolbox Talks, Accident Investigations, Near Miss Reporting, and Lift Plans.

    This person will be hired initially as a full time W2 consultant of Actalent Services providing support to the Construction firm. After supporting the firm for 12 months, you will eligible to transition to their firm as a direct employee. As an Actalent Employee this person will be provided full benefits (medical, dental, vision), PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 hour

  • First Aid

  • CPR

  • 1+ years experience in Construction Safety

  • Bachelor's in Safety or Construction Management is a plus
