Job Title: Sheet Metal Installer

Job Description

Sheet Metal Installers will be responsible for sheet metal/ductwork changeouts and re-installations at an existing building in Cincinnati, near the University of Cincinnati campus.

Responsibilities

  • Layout and install sheet metal and/or duct systems.

  • Read blueprints and interpret specifications to determine where installations are needed in the building.

  • Assist with the assembly and installation of HVAC equipment, including duct/sheet metal, rooftop units, curbs, louvers, and hangers.

  • Keep equipment in good working order and ensure proper and timely maintenance is performed on equipment.

  • Follow all OSHA and TPMC standards for safety.

  • Offload deliveries and load trucks at job sites.

Preferred Skills

  • 2+ years of sheet metal installation experience on commercial and/or industrial construction sites.

  • Experience setting curbs, hanging ducts, installing sheet metal, and setting rooftop units.

  • Ability to read blueprints to determine where curbs, duct, sheet metal, and rooftop units are to be set.

  • OSHA 10 or higher certification.

  • Lift certification.

  • Type 2 hard hat.

  • Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, channel locks, vice grips, impact drill, 9/16ths sockets with impact adapter, and screwdrivers.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00
