Senior Financial Analyst – Columbus, OH
This position will be responsible for supporting the FP&A Dept with a variety of financial activities including corporate reporting, forecasting, building financial models, supporting month end close process, as well as ad hoc reporting as needed. A strong background in Excel is required and strong interpersonal skills will be needed as this role will interact with all levels within the organization. This is a in-office position (Columbus, OH). Some travel required (<10%).
Job Expectations:
Reports to the Director, Corporate Finance
In coordination with the FP&A team, this position is responsible for adherence to the company’s accounting principles, procedures, practices, reporting and compliance requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP
Prepare, review, and distribute weekly/monthly financial reports that summarize and forecast the company’s (Operations Divisions, Fleet Dept, and SG&A) financial results
Responsible for various aspects of the monthly close process including revenue/cost balancing and uploading the monthly forecast to Quanta’s system
Analyze financial reports for variances from forecasted, budgeted, and benchmarked performance
Prepare various AR/Unbilled/DSO reports and help the Operations Divisions drive down DSO
Prepare Job Cost reclasses related to pass-through billing
Prepare/gather audit backup for our internal and external auditors
Other duties as assigned

What is Required?
Associate degree and 2+ years of related experience or bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Construction industry experience a plus
Experience with Spectrum or other enterprise accounting software a plus
Must have the ability to research and analyze various financial data and have a solid understanding of accounting principles
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and be computer literate
Proficient in Microsoft Excel – ability to work with pivot tables, formulas such as V-lookups
Organized, detail oriented with reconciliation skills
Must have the ability to work independently and prioritize duties as well as on team projects
