Robert Half Salesforce Developer: IV (Lead) in Columbus, Ohio

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Applications Architect based in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves leading and participating in the development activities that span across multiple Salesforce platforms. The appointed individual will be expected to independently build and unit test components, provide guidance to the development team, and conduct research on new Salesforce capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Independently build and unit test components and work alongside the QA team members to resolve any code and configuration-based defects.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the development team and assist with research on new Salesforce capabilities.

• Take part in the agile practices and ceremonies including scrum team planning sessions and user story refinement.

• Lead proof of concepts with the architects to evaluate and document new designs, integration patterns, and practices.

• Participate in the enhancement of DevOps processes, pipelines, monitoring, and test automation.

• Understand enterprise cross-system integration concepts such as processing events and interacting with APIs.

• Conduct product/solution evaluations, including Salesforce capabilities and third-party vendor offerings, by creating prototypes as a means to elicit, clarify, and design towards the business goals.

• Design, document, and develop development patterns and best practices for consumption by the technical delivery organization.

• Mentor the technical delivery staff. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in the role of Applications Architect or similar

• Proficiency in R Code and GIT

• Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies and integration

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology

• Strong research and planning process skills

• Ability to review, design, and enhance software applications

• Experience with QA - Quality Assurance processes and defect management

• Knowledge of best practices in security and configuration management

• Experience in the financial services sector is advantageous

• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and client interactions

• Experience in monitoring tool usage, upgrades, and component selection

• Proven track record in successful deployments

• Ability to develop efficient prototypes and API development
