SSOE is looking to hire a Project Management Assistant to join our team to support our project managers, engineers, and design teams in the successful completion of various design packages. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient execution of projects by providing administrative and project-related assistance. This position is a hybrid role that will require you to work onsite as needed and be located in the Columbus, OH area. Remote work arrangements for this role are not available. Responsibilities Maintain project documentation, including permits, applications, schedules, technical drawings and specifications. Assist in the preparation of permits and applications, including sealing and/or stamping drawings, for approvals and submittals. Sets up and assists with maintenance of project deliverables, spreadsheets, construction cost estimates, databases, reports, and presentations. Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and task tracking. Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones. Monitor project progress and update project managers on status. Create, edit, and proof documents, correspondence, reports, presentations, and other materials using programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, SharePoint, and Bluebeam software. Collaborate with engineers, design teams, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution. Assist in the dissemination of project information and ensure clear communication among team members. Identify and address project-related issues or bottlenecks. Assist in finding solutions to overcome project challenges. Escalate critical issues to project managers for resolution. Qualifications Demonstrated experience with project coordinating, project assisting, or technically related experience. Must have experience supporting project management teams. Ability to coordinate numerous activities, meet project deadlines, and have a high attention to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize, execute tasks, and communicate effectively are crucial. Proficiency in the use of programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, SharePoint, and pdf editing software. Candidate who speaks Mandarin is highly desirable. Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
