We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an OS Platform Engineer: III based in COLUMBUS, Ohio. This role primarily supports both Windows and Mac operating systems, with an emphasis on Mac OS. As part of our End User Computing group, you will be involved in integration support, roadmap execution, and planning for macOSs in an Enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer JAMF and provide End User MacOS support

• Create packages, scripts, profiles as necessary to deploy Mac applications and policies

• Troubleshoot and test application packages and policies

• Support hardware and deploy Mac OS in JAMF

• Work in a cross-functional environment where verbal and written communications skills are essential

• Perform incident management duties, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues across all platforms that End User Computing supports

• Show proven ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure

• Utilize skills in Communication, Microsoft Excel, Planning, Policy, HR Administration, Troubleshooting, Networking, Cloud Technologies, Configuration Management, Windows OS, Packaging Components, Computer Hardware, Mac Computers, Mac OS, Deploying, Servicenow Application, PowerShell, Troubleshoot Hardware, Log Files, JAMF Casper Suite, Windows Desktop, Remote Administration, AB Testing, Microsoft System, Infrastructure Management.

Requirements • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• Knowledge of policy development and implementation

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively

• Understanding of networking concepts and technologies

• Proficiency in cloud technologies and services

• Experience in configuration management

• Expertise in Windows OS and related software

• Skills in packaging components for software distribution

• Knowledge of computer hardware, including troubleshooting

• Familiarity with Mac computers and Mac OS

• Experience in deploying software and hardware solutions

• Knowledge of ServiceNow application for IT service management

• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues

• Experience in analyzing log files for troubleshooting

• Familiarity with JAMF Casper Suite for Mac management

• Expertise in Windows desktop administration

• Experience in remote administration of systems

• Understanding of AB testing principles and techniques

• Proficiency in Microsoft System Center suite
