Detailed Description

Designs, installs and configures network and security infrastructure and NMS/monitoring tools and provide 24x7 operational support for Huntington's Enterprise Network organization. Assists with the planning, design, research and acquisition of new or upgraded hardware and software systems; maintains current knowledge of hardware, software and network technology and recommends modifications as required. Maintains documents and updates the network and security infrastructure, tests and implements vendor security patches, implement workarounds for unpatched security vulnerabilities. Troubleshoots problems with applications, network and security infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN appliances, proxy servers, DNS appliances and Wireless devices. Makes corrective actions when necessary following change control guidelines and polices. Creates all required technical documentation in accordance with Huntington's Changes Control and project management processes and procedures. Provide after hours on-call support as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Five (5) years of network administration/engineering experience including use of routing and switching technologies (Cisco) and implementing network solutions and Virtual Private Network (VPN) circuits. Experience must include at least two (2) years of load balancing experience (Big IP F5 for Global and Local load balancing), Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewall implementation, and use of intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems appliances (IDS/IPS) for network security.
