ManpowerGroup Mechanical Engineer I in Columbus, Ohio

Our client, a leader in the medical products industry, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer I, you will be part of a dynamic engineering department supporting innovative product development. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer I

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $36.20 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Develop mechanical products, subsystems, and components.

  • Collaborate with technicians for hands-on assembly and testing work in the lab.

  • Work with Project Management to complete tasks within budget and schedule.

  • Generate design, development, and support documentation following QS/ISO processes.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to shape product design and define functional needs.

What's Needed?

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

  • 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.

  • Experience designing for plastic injection molded parts, preferred.

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo.

  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance.
