Job Title: Press Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating a metal stamping press, interpreting information from work orders and blueprints, and manufacturing products to precise specifications. You will also be responsible for setting up the machine for each job and loading and packing parts under the guidance of a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up metal stamping press for specific jobs

• Interpret information from work orders and blueprints

• Manufacture products to precise specifications

• Load and pack parts as directed

• Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained

Essential Skills

• 1+ years experience operating a Stamping Press or CNC Machines

• 1+ years experience reading blueprints

• Proficiency in using a tape measure and calculating basic math

• Experience with punch press, sheet metal, fabrication, and calipers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating a high-speed punch press is a plus

• Experience working with sheet metal

• Ability to use micrometers, height gauges, and calipers

• Ability to run high volume, fast-paced jobs

Work Environment

Clean and loud manufacturing environment, heavily production-based. You may work alone or with one other person in your own small area for 10 hours a day. We have a friendly and safety-first culture. The available shifts are: 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM) and 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
