ManpowerGroup IT Business Operations Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio

Job Title: IT Business Operations Coordinator

Location: Onsite | Columbus OH

Work Schedule: M-F

Contract Details: 6mo contract

Pay Rate: $55hr

The IT Business Operations Coordinator will support the IT management team by helping to streamline department operations. This role requires a general understanding of the IT organization, budgeting, and departmental goals, enabling the candidate to assist in various financial and cross-functional activities. Key responsibilities include processing invoices—ensuring accuracy, assigning GL codes, and securing team approvals before submission to accounts payable.

Key Skills Required:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles with a strong willingness to learn department-level budgeting and accounting processes

  • Familiarity with IT departments and project management is preferred

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review and process IT-related invoices, including coding, securing approvals, and working closely with Accounts Payable and vendors.

  • Support IT leadership with various business operations, including organizational chart updates, financial analysis, and the implementation of new processes.

  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects and initiatives that align with the goals of the IT department and broader company objectives.

Minimum Education:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent industry experience.

Minimum Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, analytical, or similar role.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting; willingness to learn advanced budgeting processes.

  • Familiarity with IT and project management.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams; knowledge of SmartSheet is a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to track, address, and escalate issues or risks to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

  • A continuous improvement mindset.
