You'll craft architecture artifacts, guide investments, and ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable. This role specifically focuses on Dynamics 365 (D365). The ideal candidate must be an expert in D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) and familiar with D365 Customer Engagement (CE). Your deep knowledge and experience with these platforms will be crucial in driving our digital transformation and ensuring our systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Responsibilities: Define IT systems architecture ensuring applications, data, and technology perspectives align with the organization's technology, governance, policies, standards, and business strategy. Partner with business stakeholders, IT, and vendor teams to ensure consistency in design and maintainability that is scalable, secure, and adheres to project timelines. Create architecture artifacts including but not limited to Building Blocks, Guardrails, Options Documents, Solution Designs, and Configuration Specs. Maintain the inventory of applications and documentation on all systems in their domain and provide guidance on where to invest, maintain, and divest. Collaborate with the architecture team, scrum teams, and IT leadership to design IT systems in synchronization with the needs of the business. Focus on our Microsoft-first strategy and service-oriented architecture (SOA) development patterns, with a goal of software quality and reusability; minimizing high-cost projects that do not achieve their stated goals. Encourage agile development and the benefits of scrum. Mentor and coach others on skills and technologies, including progressing away from waterfall and monolithic tendencies. Conduct and actively participate in meetings related to assigned projects with internal staff and outside partners. Oversee the product and technology roadmaps and architecture work products in close alignment with Senior Product Managers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Development Managers. Develop and support solution architectures across scrum teams, partnering with teams to ensure consistency in methods, domain-driven design, and a Microsoft-first, cloud-first, and service-oriented mindset, keeping shared code to a minimum, avoiding solution coupling, and staying aligned with emerging trends. Act as a technical expert, assisting business and development teams, and assist with application customization and configuration including workflows, entities, forms, and reports. Perform solution architect reviews of scrum work and communicate corrective actions to ensure consistency across product teams and compliance with architecture standards and guardrails.
