We are offering an exciting opportunity for an In House Counsel in the hospitality industry. The role is based in Columbus area. This position involves various responsibilities focusing on franchise law and commercial contracts and managing litigation

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on franchise law and commercial contracts related matters

• Responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts

• Manage legal disputes and litigation

• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions

• Ensure compliance with all legal regulations

• Act as a point of contact for all legal issues within the company

• Collaborate with the other departments to ensure the legal safety of the company

• Work on special projects as assigned by the management

• Provide legal training to the company's departments when necessary.

Requirements

• Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.

• A strong background in Franchise Law is required.

• Proficiency in handling Commercial Contracts is necessary.

• Candidates should hold a law degree from an accredited institution.

• Applicants should be admitted to the bar in the state of operation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is required.

• Candidates should possess the ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and provide appropriate legal solutions.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision making is necessary.

• Applicants should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Candidates should demonstrate a high level of detail orientation and integrity.

• The ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders is required.
