We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and improving their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Personal Care:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Administer medication as per physician's orders and maintain accurate records.
- Provide mobility assistance and transfer clients safely, ensuring their comfort.
Companionship:
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting mental and emotional well-being.
- Engage in friendly conversation and encourage social interaction.
- Accompany clients on walks, appointments, and recreational activities.
Meal Preparation:
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and client preferences.
- Assist with feeding if necessary and monitor dietary compliance.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
Household Assistance:
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up.
- Assist with shopping and errands to ensure clients have necessary supplies.
- Help with organizing and maintaining a safe living space.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including care plans, observations, and care notes.
- Keep track of daily activities and changes in the client's condition.
Safety:
- Ensure a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a high standard of hygiene.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Report any concerns or changes in a client's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
