JPMorgan Chase Forecast Consolidation Financial Analysis Associate in Columbus, Ohio
Grab the chance to work with the Forecast Consolidation team that is responsible for delivering data and reporting for the purpose of insights into the JPMorgan Chase firm-wide financial performance and projections. The overall team is responsible for a wide-range of activities including execution of data collection, data enrichment, controls, financial calculations and reporting as well as identifying, managing, building, testing and implementing enhancement opportunities to the data, systems and forecast consolidation processes.
As a Forecast Consolidation Data Domain Architect Associate within the Forecast Consolidation team, you will be focused on executing daily Production run book tasks such as environmental readiness, maintenance, and forecast/budgeting allocation loads. This role provides you with the opportunity to promote the adherence of the current and future state Operational model standardization, offering a chance to contribute significantly to our team's success.
Job responsibilities
Leverage various technologies and data analytics skills to streamline the financial data collection and data aggregation processes
Support and enhancing controls surrounding the data and systems used to inform the Firm's financial performance and projections (budget, outlook etc.)
Work with technology to modernize the supporting infrastructure and deliver flexible self-service tools to other end-users
Analyze, evaluate and challenge both the current and future state business processes and application architecture to identify areas of opportunity for improvement / automation around the forecast consolidation processes
Contribute to the delivery of information, insights, and solutions that inform business strategy and decisions by making recommendations for managing more complex situations
Evaluate information and processes for analysis and reporting purposes
Collaborate on functional requirements from stakeholders and translates into technical and data requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature
2+ years of experience in technology operations, product ownership and/or finance
Proficiency with data gathering, modeling and manipulation, analytics and problem solving skills with the ability present conclusions concisely
Familiar with financial concepts and various financial calculations leveraged to deliver complete / accurate financial results and business insights
Highly motivated with a proven track record for executing on large to small programs / projects, often under pressure given short lead times or with little information / direction
Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent team player with the ability to challenge, while at the same time remaining a respected and trusted partner for the P&A and Technology teams
Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
Proven ability to gather and analyze complex data and develop accurate conclusions with sufficient business comprehension to understand risk implications
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Knowledge of query writing and execution using data analysis tools
Project management
Certification in Data Technology, Agile or other project management applications
