Senior Finance Segment Liaison – Enterprise Investments & Strategic Analysis Manager

Corporate Finance is seeking a Senior Finance Segment Liaison to support the Profitability and Cost accounting team as the Enterprise Investments & Strategic Analysis Manager. The qualified individual will provide analytical and reporting support to finance and various segments pertaining to Huntington’s internal strategic investments. The range of responsibilities will include:

• Provide leadership with optimization feedback for ongoing investments & investment opportunities

• Provide executive level reporting on status and opportunities of internal strategic investments.

• Managing internal business case process; including: reporting, maintaining approvals, ad-hoc analysis, look back analysis

• Enhance existing process as needed for changes to profitability, capital, cost allocation.

• Collaborate with management reporting team for flow of business cases to forecast when appropriate.

• Provide segment CFOs and administrative groups with business case support ensuring accurate profitability, capital & expense information within business cases

• Work with internal technology teams as needed.

• Managing and developing 1 colleague (direct report).

• Ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• Management experience with direct reports

• 5-7 years of business case modeling; forecasting, profitability analysis, finance leadership

• 7-10 years of financial analysis or data analysis experience that includes use of Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preference - Finance, Accounting, and/or Business.

• Master’s degree preference - Finance, Accounting, and/or Business (MBA).

• PowerPoint and executive level reporting experience strongly preferred

• Business case modeling experience

• Financial analysis preference - Knowledge of bank financials.

• Background in bank profitability, activity based costing, return on equity analysis

• Hyperion Essbase/Smart View/Dodecca experience strongly preferred.

• Able to multi-task effectively, be a self-starter, and be able to handle stress with composure and professionalism.

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Additional hours and some weekend time may be required.

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
