JPMorgan Chase Finance & Business Management - Associate in Columbus, Ohio

As an Associate Business Manager in the Product & Experience Finance & Business Management team within the Finance Product Portfolio organization, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Risk Product Portfolio executives and will be responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business and financial risks. You will provide support to senior Business and Operations leaders and key partners across Product & Experience Finance and Business Management teams to enable effective end-to-end execution. Your role as an Associate on the team provides a high-impact opportunity to ensure senior management across Product & Experience have visibility into major initiatives, business metrics, financials and data insights to achieve their strategic objectives.

For this role, candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance & Business Management to prepare executive presentations - package and present projections and performance trends by bringing financials and data together to tell a cohesive story

  • Design management reporting packages to communicate business results in a transparent and concise manner to all constituents

  • Coordinate deliverables with business managers, finance, delivery managers and other Finance & Business Management teams

  • Create executive level presentations using PowerPoint PitchPro+ to present analysis

  • Analyze large amounts of data, assess KPI trends, and create impactful analysis to assist in developing strategy

  • Partner with Finance & Business Management team to budget and forecast headcount and direct expenses

  • Participate in the activity based costing process used to allocate expenses across lines of business and downstream client profitability system

  • Interact, collaborate, and partner with peer team members across business and staff areas at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over all resources

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area

  • 5+ years of work experience in Financial Services with a Financial Analysis, Business Management, and/or Accounting/Controller background

  • Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence

  • Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agenda

  • Excellent organization, project management and communication skills to communicate with all levels with a strong professional presence

  • Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale by story

  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Pivot Table and Word skills
