ManpowerGroup Data Center Operation Analyst in Columbus, Ohio
Our client in the scientific industry is seeking a Data Center Operation Analyst to join their team. As a Data Center Operation Analyst, you will be part of the Technology division supporting the Solutions Platform and Reliability organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Center Operation Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH The first couple weeks of training will all be during first shift hours then will shift to 3rd shift once they're up to speed.
NOTE: This is a hybrid position. Candidates will have the option to work from home each week once they come up to speed, (2 days) but not always on Mondays and/or Thursdays. WFH days will depend on what rotation schedule they are on.
What's the Job?
Efficiently use incident and change management processes to document and engage support for incidents affecting the Data Center Infrastructure.
Monitor events and production batch schedules, providing initial responses to alerts and escalating service incidents as needed.
Support mainframe generated computer output in a distributed print environment.
Assist in the implementation and operation of infrastructure services including storage, network, and hardware support.
Maintain a master knowledge base with guidelines and procedures for managing the infrastructure and testing customer-facing products.
What's Needed?
Some college or equivalent experience.
1 to 2 years of IT experience.
Willingness to work a 3rd shift position (11:00pm – 7:30am).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work positively and collaboratively in a team environment.
