Pay: $59,000- $63,000 commiserate with experience and credentials

Stabilization Therapists with National Youth Advocate Program work in the community providing services that make meaningful impacts for youth and their families'. This position works with high- acuity/ needs youth with the focus of stabilization. Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, this position works closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.

Responsibilities
• Provides appropriate individual, group, and family mental health services, intervention and other evidence based clinical services as required.
• Travels daily, to provide community based services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates and monitors clinical services for the youth and family in the community, including mental health, special educational services, medication management, and psychological services.
• Regularly reviews and modifies youth-based plans.
• Establishes and maintains strong relationship with foster parents and families of origin.
• Assists in family reunification and stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth’s case plan.
• Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and scheduled on-call rotation.
Minimum Qualifications
•Master's Degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid professional license (LSW, LPC) as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations.
• Experience working with youth and foster care, required.
• Must have flexible availability including evenings.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
Driving and Vehicle Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal transportation
Good driving record
Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
