Bath & Body Works Continuous Improvement Analyst in Columbus, Ohio

The Supply Chain Planning & Analytics (SCP&A) Continuous Improvement (CI) team is uniquely positioned to drive the overall business strategy by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing cost and risk, improving quality, and boosting service levels. The CI team cultivates a culture of agility and adaptability, enabling the logistics function to better facilitate the business in responding to changing market demands, scaling operations, and sustaining a competitive edge. This alignment ensures that logistics not only serves as a cost center but as a strategic enabler of the company’s overall growth objectives. As an individual contributor on this team, you will use data analysis, statistics, Lean methodologies, and process optimization to drive impactful CI projects. Your work will directly contribute to streamlining processes, reducing waste, and delivering tangible improvements that align with these strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional improvement projects focused on addressing immediate opportunities eliminating wasteful practices, and driving process enhancements through collaboration with business partners and teams

  • Assist in root cause analysis and apply critical thinking, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to help identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement in collaboration with team members

  • Support with process mapping (Value Stream Mapping) and business process analysis to identify gaps and clarify areas for improvement, focusing on cost savings, risk reduction, and operational excellence

  • Work closely with various business functions to aid in the execution of process and technology enhancements, applying project management and organizational skills to ensure timely and effective execution

  • Offer guidance and support for change efforts to help align operational, tactical, and critical initiatives with organizational objectives.

  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on the performance of improvements, ensuring that changes are sustained and continue to deliver benefits over time

  • Encourage a cultural of continuous improvement by supporting the adoption of operational excellence practices across the organization and fostering growth mindset and positive change

This is a Hybrid role in Columbus Ohio

Qualifications

  • Analysis, Statistics, & Visualization: ability to use analytics/statistics to identify key insights, visualize & present findings at an above-average level

  • Minitab/Excel: use of statistical program a plus; utilization of Excel with visualizing distributions, measures of central tendencies and variability, an emphasis on data architecture & ability to harmonize data from multiple platforms

  • Visio software: ability to create appropriate process map/tool corresponding with project milestones and objectives

  • · Lean and Six Sigma principles: exposure to LSS and a desire to continue to learn with potential belt certification

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Analytics field preferred or 2-3 years relevant professional experience.
