Title: Construction Engineer, 3D Printing Specialist Company: LINK Real Estate Group LLC Location: Columbus, OH Job duties: Leverage advanced technology and expertise to utilize 3D printing techniques in the construction of concrete-based projects to enhance construction efficiency, precision, and sustainability while pushing the boundaries of design and construction possibilities. Collaborate with architects and engineers to translate design concepts into 3D printable models, considering structural requirements, feasibility, and material properties. Identify and select appropriate concrete mixtures and additives to ensure optimal printability, structural integrity, and desired material properties. Conduct quality control inspections and tests to verify the quality of printed concrete structures, such as assessing layer adhesion, dimensional accuracy, and strength characteristics. Engage in process optimization, continuously exploring and implementing improvements to enhance the efficiency, speed, and reliability of 3D printing processes for concrete structures. Collaborate and coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of 3D printing technology within the construction workflow. Conceptualize and develop the design of the building or structure that the robot will be involved in considering functional requirements, aesthetics, and the overall vision of the project. Exercise responsibility for the operation and maintenance of state of the art 3D printing equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and ensuring proper functioning throughout the printing process. Travel approximately 10% of time to undetermined locations within state of Ohio. Requirements: Must have Master's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Architecture. Must have 1 year of experience as a 3D Printing Specialist, Construction engineer or Designer, including 1 year of experience with: Construction 3D printing, Concrete mix design, Rhino and Grasshopper, and Architectural Design and Rendering. Must be willing to travel approximately 10% of time to undetermined locations within state of Ohio.
